2024 CPS Summer Leadership Institute (SLI)

This session will allow administrators to gain a shared perspective about the intensity of challenging behavior exhibited by students with special needs that aligns with the perspective of behavior analysts in the district. Appropriate interventions ranging from non-restrictive to crisis responses will be discussed and criteria for physical restraint will be shared. A general overview of the expectations of school-based Safety-Care trainers will also be provided.
