2024 CPS Summer Leadership Institute (SLI)

The SLI session will focus on equipping school leaders with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively support newcomer students. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by newcomer students, including linguistic, cultural, and socio-emotional factors. Through this interactive session, attendees will learn about evidence-based strategies and interventions tailored to promote newcomer students' academic achievement and socio-emotional well-being.
